English Listening

You understand most of a magazine article, but don't understand English over the phone, or when you are asked a complex question in a noisy pub. If this sounds familiar, it's time to book an English Listening course.

We use a variety of audio recordings to get you accustomed to different accents and contexts. You listen to a British newsreader on the BBC, an Amerian singing a hip-hop song, an Australian giving a public announcement, or an English-speaking German taking part in a TV debate.

These are followed by comprehension exercises like answering questions or filling in the gaps to develop your vocabulary and improve your powers of discussion.

You will also go to the cinema to develop your ear in an enjoyable way, and practise listening to the news on the radio and sharing it with your friends. Soon, you will be able to understand that complex question in that noisy pub.

All the materials you need are provided at the beginning of each lesson, or as a package before the start of the course.

Your first meeting is FREE.
